Under the guidance of a senior appraiser learn and understand how to effectively complete an appraisal report and deal with underwriting and compliance issues. Students shall sift through data and enter pertinent information into URAR report. Students apply the value approaches, review the appropriateness of each approach, consider the quality of data and value ranges used to arrive at a value conclusion. Discussion also addresses the types of written reports and appropriate uses.

Instructor shall steer students to efficiently enter report data and include pertinent information in report ensuring compliance with USPAP/regulatory requirements. WinTotal appraisal software may be utilized if students are interested. Appraisal template provided for reports.

Time spent determining final appraisal value may qualify to contribute to appraisal log. Class size is limited.

Course qualifies for:
• 7 hours of appraisal and/or real estate continuing education credit for license renewal, no exam required
