Nora Monahan, owner, CEO, and co-founder of America's Real Estate Academy, Inc. is responsible for the school administration and financial operations. She is licensed in Georgia as an appraisal instructor, appraiser, real estate instructor, and a real estate broker. She presently teaches the appraisal and real estate sales pre-license programs and includes real life examples in the classroom to accentuate the curriculum. A recent student said:

Ms. Monahan previously worked for a computer education company and an international software firm before moving to Georgia. Her marketing talents assisted in the raising of over 2 million dollars for a non-profit capital construction campaign in less than six months. Most recently she directed administrative and certain financial operations of a commercial engineering and construction firm with over 17 million dollars of annual sales in public and private sector commercial construction.
Active in her community, Ms. Monahan was an original founding member and past board chairman of a local recreation association, which successfully raised sufficient capital to develop and build a youth sport facility consisting of seven ball fields and associated amenities. She also was a member and past chairman of the Cherokee County Board of Education.
